The free Searchify app for the Android integrates with your phone's search function to perform some neat tricks like translations, unit conversations, calendar search, Wikipedia search, keyword search, and more.

Searchify starts by using the search button. Use texting to enter formulas into the search bar to reveal calculations without having to use your calculator. Another is calendar search. Entering a day of the week (e.g. Friday, a time (am/pm), and a phrase (e.g. Meeting) into the search field pulls up a calendar and an add event option. Going into your calendar will reveal the details you added.

Yet another feature is a calendar search feature. Typing in "cal" and "meeting" reveals all the information in the search results. Clicking on the entry takes you to a detailed calendar view. Searchify is also integrated into Twitter to bring up Twitter searches with a "twt "keyword" entry. All in all, Searchify is a great tool for users who do not like using multiple applications to enter their appointments and search for content.
